The dreaded Fic Search! Attention Spike/Buffy fans!

H'lo, all!

Been trying to track down the "Dancing Lessons" Trilogy - one of the classic Spike/Buffy fics. Apparently, the website http://randomthought.addr.com/redemptionista is DEAD. I've been pulling at my furry blue ears in frustration trying to find where the new site is. HELP!

If anyone's saved the entire fic series on their hard drive, emailing it to me at darth_stitch @ yahoo.com would be deeply appreciated.

OH MY GOD!!!!!

Have just seen the trailer for Memoirs of a Geisha. Here's hoping they do a kick-ass job of transposing the book, which I adore, to film. In the meantime.... the cast list:

Zhang Ziyi as Nitta Sayuri - There has got to be some sort of serious irony in having a beautiful Chinese woman play a beautiful Japanese geisha somewhere around here, but I'm going to reserve judgement until I actually SEE the movie. From the looks of the trailer - she's gorgeous and she'll probably pull it off.

Michelle Yeoh as Mameha - Whoa. Didn't see THAT one coming. But I'm having Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon vibes. Again, it looks good, despite the ten thousand ironies.

Gong Li as Hatsumomo - HA! I just KNEW she had to be Hatsumomo. The minute I heard she was in this movie, I just KNEW she was going to be Hatsumomo. Shades of "Raise the Red Lantern," here - for Asian film aficionados.

Ken Watanabe as The Chairman - FINALLY, someone who's actually Japanese in the cast.

And on that note, would Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa be Nobu? Ooooooooooooh.

Man, am I going to be looking forward to December!
