You think Stand By Me is cheesy?! I love that song (I love the movie too)!

I think he really made it his own (to use an oft-used phrase). I really liked his song choice (another oft-used phrase) of "Heaven" by the Los Lonely Boys.

Oh, I just noticed you think "bridge over trouble water" is the cheesy song. Again, I like that one a lot. The Simon and Garfunkel original is heartbreaking. Cheesy it is not, my friend!
