You know that your Harry Muse has formally established his territory in your brain, when, while watching the MOST EXCELLENT MOVIE Kung Fu Hustle, he takes a look at its "hero" Stephen Chow and remarks:

"Hey, it's the Chinese version of Severus!"

and

"Cleans up just as well as he does."

AND

"Rawr."

WARGH. Severus Snape doing the kung fu!!!!!!

Oh my God, have you ever seen... whatsit, The Duel??? Lame lame lame movie, but there's this one character who's in it for like five minutes and it's OMG SNAPE SNAPE SNAPE WITH A HOTASS STREAK OF WHITE IN HIS HAIR!!!! And then he dies.

But...!!!!!!! Man I think I'm gonna have to go watch those five minutes now...

Ok. So after looking into it (it meaning my kung fu collection), I've rediscovered:

1) I still don't know his name. IMDB is no help.

2) It was a widow's peak, not a white streak.

3) The Duel is a really, really, really, really, really dumb movie.

4) Not in an entertaining way, unfortunately. Though it is pretty, and the main chick does bear a startling resemblance to Kate Hudson.

5) Dude's only in it for maybe three minutes.

6) I can't in good conscience recommend that anyone ever spend money on this movie, but I DO highly recommend getting Kung Fu Master, starring Donnie Yen. It has the trailer for The Duel on it, and the trailer is marvellous, and has pretty much all of the Snape Dude's appearance on it, minus his dialogue, but his dialogue isn't particularly Snapish anyway.

7) To reiterate: I definitely recommend the trailer of the movie over the movie itself.
