On a more serious note:
My mother said that it seems the world has greeted the New Year far more quietly than is usual. I agree. The end of the year has been a cruel and bitter one for many people - here in the Philippines, we contended with two super typhoons while our Asian neighbors suffered the brunt of a major earthquake and devastating tsunamis.
I pray for those who have not lived to see the dawn of the new year. I pray for those who are left behind, suffering the loss of their loved ones. I pray that they may find comfort and hope and joy again. May God bless and keep them -- all of them.
And for all of you folk that I've met online, that I've befriended here, may God bless and keep you and may this year bring you and all your loved ones happiness and peace.
You scored as Neutral Good. A Neutral Good person tries to do the 'goodest' thing possible. These people are willing to work with the law to accomplish their goal, but if the law is corrupt they are just as willing to tear it down. To these people, doing what's right is the most important thing, regardless of rules, customs, or laws.

Date: 2005-01-01 04:24 pm (UTC)I hope you and your Muses have a wonderful New Year. Sometimes the suffering in the world can cause us all such despair, and yet: we show our greatest humanity when faced with adversity. I pray that all those who suffer are given the help and comfort that they need.
May you never be the sufferer in the coming year, but the solace.

Date: 2005-01-02 01:51 am (UTC)Happy New Year to you and yours! May 2005 not be quite so 'exciting' on the weather and geological front. Oy.
Morrie, of course, scoffs at the idea of 'Good', even while preparing to save the planet. I keep hearing echoes of Han Solo: "I'm not in this for your Rebellion Princess, I'm in it for the money! I expect to be well paid for this!" Yeah, and we all know where that got Capt. Solo. ^_^
