I just realized. I missed Waverly's birthday!

*headdesks*

How could I forget the birthday of Snapercup's baby!!!

See, I meant Waverly's birthday to be in September and I meant to fix the date to be in the first week. September 7, to be more precise. And I was supposed to write something in commemoration of that day.

Drat.

Waverly, honey? I'm so sorry!!!

*schnoogles her little Muse*

Anyone know of a unique pet I can give a disappointed widdle girl with a yen for weird pets?

Something that isn't likely to eat her up would be nice. *cough*

this is waverly sulking

Well....for unique pets, you could always get her a nutria. They're kinda cute. Think beaver/rat/otter and stick it in a swamp. And they are in abundance around New Orleans, LA and other southern Louisiana swampy areas, but not very much so elsewhere.

I would have said a ferret, but they are not so uncommon anymore. Maybe a flying squirrel? I can't think of too many things that are both weird and nonchildeating....unless you wanted to get her a pet squid or jellyfish, something that will be on the other side of a glass wall.

What about a komodo dragon? Although those aren't nearly as interesting as a nice Chinese Fireball...

What kind of godmother am I?

How about a golden tamarin! They are beautiful, and quite amusing. It will, of course, drive Papa crazy with its chatter, but Daddy will love it.

See one here: http://www.livejournal.com/community/baaaaabyanimals/84543.html#cutid1

But what kind of godmother am I? I had gifts already picked out, odd Muggle gifts that Uncle Arthur will like, and I didn't send them on the day! *hangs head in shame*

Here are the things I picked out for you, sweetest.

Hope you like them!

Well, when you open the packages, you'll find the DK Animal Encyclopedia, Science Encyclopedia, Nature Encyclopedia, and Space Encyclopedia. There's also the E.B. White collection, and a Cricket in Times Square.

I think it will take a couple of owls to send these: they're heavy!

Well, how about a nice unicorn? There is such a thing as miniature horses, how about miniature unicorns? Check out the minis (horses, that is) here http://www.tbart.net/sires.cfm They're so cute. So expensive too, but then, a little unicorn isn't bought so much as enticed, right? ^_^

Hi, this is Nell (I'm in the icon pic) - be sure to feed Morry plenty of fresh grass or hay. He'd probably also like carrots and apples (and mangos!). Tell your papa and daddy that you can housebreak little horses, so little unicorns should be the same. ^_^

How about an enchanted penguin?

It could be litter/paper/outside trained and it couldn't jump up on the potions table in the middle of a dangerous brewing, or jump on the furniture.

Absolutely. Not!

No MORE BLOODY PENGUINS!

There's practically a bloody flock of them on Our Couch already!
