Have yet another program to work on (argh, teh horror) - would like to have some Pirate slash to keep me from going completely bonkers.

So.....anyone know any good Will/Jack Sparrow Pirates of the Carribbean slash? No threesomes or weird-ass kinks, please (I know, I know - I'm smut vanilla but hell, that's just me). Lots of humor would be nice. Romance and adventure also a plus.

Anyone? Please? With a nekkid Sev n' Harry on top?

The stories read like an old-fashioned cliff-hanger serial and I thought that book 2 had more well, plot, than book 1. And, I happen to like plot. Though book 1 does establish how they get together. In a word, slowly. That said, I did read the whole thing and am not sorry for having done so, I just can't say that I'd read it again.

Not a stellar rec I know, but what I've seen in Will/Jack that isn't a pwp or a 'who are these guys' could fit on the top of this i. As I too, don't care for threesomes.

If vanilla's your thing, I don't think it gets any more so than this unless it's gen.

Oh, I don't mind nice hot clean and well-written smut. It's when you bring out the whips, the chains, the whole BDSM regalia, added in with incest and chan that makes me queasy. It really isn't my bag.

Then again, when the prose is too purple, I run like hell too. Mweh.

I know you wanted a list of specific fics, but I read so much they all just blend together. *g* I'll give a few sites instead, maybe you'll find something you'll like that way.

I would recommend the parley archive except it seems to be down at the moment. Great fics there so check back, maybe it'll work tomorrow.

There's a good yahoo group called caribbean_slashers (they have a fuhqfest and archive).

Oooooh, I just read a extremely vanilla fic. Not usually my cuppa but it may be what you're looking for.

Also, I found this fic called Coming Along. I had marked that I really enjoyed it but I can' remember specifics (don't think there was any non-con type stuff).

Maybe you could use this time to write some more "As You Wish" *nudge nudge wink wink*

As someone has already mentioned Sleeps With Coyotes' works, all I can suggest (aside from bugging Coyo about writing more of "Sparrow, Falling") is a couple of recs I've made in the past. None are particularly humourous, nor are they long, but they are wonderful bits of piraty-slashy-goodness in their own right.

Here are the two recs; one of them has a link to the author's site where you can read several more bits of fiction. Okay, I lied, but here is the site index. You might want to try the "Real Person Anthropomorphic Slash," just for humour's sake-- Johnny Depp/Camera, among others. (No kink, just amusing byplay on the common phrase, "Make love to the camera.")
