Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Part Deux.
Oct. 17th, 2008 11:40 amMommy Duck went to the market today.
Mommy Duck saw a cute little baby boy (probably not a minute over one year old) with blonde hair and blue eyes, sitting amiably in his pram, apparently determined to accompany his nanny to the market.
Mommy Duck made the acquaintance of Blue-eyed Baby and Nanny and Baby proved to be a charming, affable young fellow, who will probably be making the ladies swoon when he is a lot older.
When Mommy Duck came home, she happily told her still boyfriend-less (and happy to stay that way) Duckling all about her new little friend.
And the kicker is when Mommy Duck tells her Duckling: "Oh I wish you'd give me one of those. One day. Maybe when you marry Daniel Craig?"
Okay. She wants me to marry James Bond. So I can give her blue-eyed grandbabies.
Uh.

Date: 2008-10-19 01:54 am (UTC)But the thought of parenthood is terrifying and I am far more comfortable seeing myself as godmother to hordes of godchildren (and I can hand 'em back to their 'rents when the day is done).
I figure if you're happy the way you are, you're happy the way you are. That's how I am and how I like things too. Cheers to the single life!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
Date: 2008-12-07 12:00 am (UTC)I'll let you in on a wee sekrit for the Days of Bliss AU story, which will probably be a new ficverse.... I keep seeing the Behaved!Teme doing the goofy priest thing. Yep. The Teme in glasses and a white cassock....um, overcoat. Oh dear oh dear oh dear..... :P
Re: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
Date: 2008-12-07 12:55 am (UTC)The teme may grow on you, but my hatred is unwaivering, mainly bacause in addition to being a genocidel psycho, he's repeatedly broken what I think of as Rule One; never harm family. You can fight, you can disagree, you can hold grudges for decades, but the moment you actively try to harm them out of malice or otherwise in cold blood, you're lower then pond scum and, for want of a better word, excomunicated (hence why I don't have any problem with the teme being dropped through the atmosphere).

Re: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
Date: 2008-12-09 01:38 am (UTC)All right, don't worry - the Teme will remain the Teme in the Milk Tea series. I have an end scene for him floating around in my brain somewhere. The Cain in my Milk Tea series is psycho crazy batshit and at his ultimate core, I sincerely believe the fucker is crazy in love with Abel and THAT is the reason why he is doing what he is currently doing. For Cain Knightlord, a world where his Abel does not love him is a world not worth saving.
And my Milk Tea Abel is subconsciously (or perhaps not) aware of this love, which makes him reel back in both horror and grief and guilt. Because Milk Tea Abel still loves Cain, although Abel's love is obviously of the healthy, decent, non-incestuous sort. The Nightlord twins have always been the mirrors of the other, back in the Good Ol' Days. Abel has had 900 years to slowly realize that Cain is not simply the extension of his other self, but also his own person, just as Abel is not simply an extension of Cain. But it is a slow, ongoing process.
Cain, alas, has never grasped this. I'm a little inspired by David Eddings' view on twins (Polgara & Beldaran) in which Cain refers to himself as "we" - not a royal "we," not really, but more of the fact that he is actually the more submissive twin.
But somewhere in the twistedness of that love, Cain still recognizes that he should not have destroyed Abel's happiness in killing Lilith. It was a mistake and it cost him Abel. Cain Knightlord is prepared to destroy Esther and unborn Zachary in a fit of jealousy but he's going to end up not following through on this and I've already given hints why in the Zachary story I wrote. (Yes, this will be taken up in more detail in another fic.)
Now, in the Days of Bliss AU, Cain Knightlord did NOT kill Lilith Sahl. They are married, they rule the Methuselah Empire together with Abel and Seth and Cain never had the chance to go crazy batshit but the seeds for it are there. However, I'm planning a sequel fic for this where Someone Else goes crazy batshit psycho (again, because of Abel, ahahahahaha guess who?) and Days of Bliss AU Cain will face the choice of madness or redemption.
Days of Bliss AU Abel will have different choices - remember that in this ficverse, he found a second chance at love and acceptance in Esther and that he has finally laid to rest his old love of Lilith. In this universe, Abel is the Prince of an Empire and will begin to emerge from Emperor Cain's glorious shadow. Just like Milk Tea Abel, DoB Abel will need to shift himself off the frontlines as a mere soldier or weapon and into the leader he should be.
Does that make sense now? Heh. I shall now proceed to break MY brain in writing out TWO fan fiction universes for ONE freakin' anime.
And now, I'm also hooked on Code Geass. Damn you, Lelouch Lamperouge. (facepalms)
