SORRY! Yes, I'm working on the drabbles - I figure I owe you guys drabbles from Harry Potter, Rurouni Kenshin, Star Wars, Superman Returns, Highlander, Smallville, Gundam Wing and Inuyasha... whoa, dudes. Methinks this ALSO requires some sort of Club Denial story as an extra treat.

Yeah, I know, I'm INSANE. Drabbles and a fic?! Not to mention the fics I've still got ongoing (slants nervous glance at As You Wish) and I'm also thinking of taking down or rewriting my old Rurouni Kenshin fic from way back when....

*facepalms*

And I'm also rewatching the Rurouni Kenshin TV series (in the middle of the Kyoto/Shishio arc now) and bewailing the fact that Some Idiots really went and screwed up the whole series by creating the Reflections OAV in which Kenshin, of all people, does the deadbeat dad thing and ends up killing himself with disease. GAH. So NOT the ending in the comics - AAAARGH!!!

And I notice that watching the series in Japanese with the subtitles results in me picking up a LOT of Japanese words, especially from Kenshin, who's apparently one of those characters whose speech patterns will rub off you after a time. Oro!

Sigh. Anyway.... I'm going back to figure out the drabbles now.... although my Snape muse is telling me it's a BAD idea to put Kenshin and Saitoh together in the same vicinity just to make my RK drabble work....

Now, if I could JUST figure out a way to have Saitoh and Kenshin/Battousai in the same room together WITHOUT causing too much bloodshed.... orororooooo....

So long as it IS a pleasure and not an obligation, I'd be happy to receive drabbles. Just please don't stress it, as any fic from a favorite author is definitely worth the wait.

The funny thing about stories is that sometimes, they'll run away from what you want to be and turn into something entirely different. Hee. I've found myself writing something... and I hope you guys will like it once it's done. Wheee!
