lamardeuse has finally finished her Snape/Harry fic A Taste of Liberty. Just. Absolutely. Bloody. Gorgeous. One of the best damn Snarry stories ever written and yes, you don't need to know beans about the fandom it's crossed over with (Queer as Folk) - you'll fall in love with the crossover universe characters anyway. It's a bit sad to leave ATL Snape and Harry behind though....(sniff) but if we're lucky, we'll see them again in fluffy shortfics one day (hint!hint!) :P .
vain_chan a.k.a. Hanakai has also updated her own Snarry fic series - the J. Alfred Prufrock Arc. In Two Foot Palace, things start getting very, very complicated with Harry and Severus. And as always, Hanakai does an exquisite job of capturing that tangled web of lust, desire, want and need that exists between them, underlaid with desperation and love. Beautiful work.
And over at the Snape/OFC het side of things: congratulations tomurasaki99 for her award on her FANTABULOUS HP/LOTR crossover. It's definitely a well-deserved award - this is HOW you do an HP/LOTR crossover. She deftly weaves the characters from both universes beautifully, Harry yields center stage to Snape gracefully and Snape is paired with one of the best OFCs ever created.
