It's 2:00 am where I live and I have work in a few hours.
I really should get to sleep.
I can't.
Blame
wikdsushi's The Last Battlefield.
It's Utterly. Fucking. Brilliant. You hear me, Sushi? It's wonderful. I finished the whole thing in one go, forgoing work (mostly) and deadlines just to get sucked back in by CW-verse Harry and Snape.
Without going into too many details, I shall list my stream-of-consciousness reactions:
1. Severus and Ruby - Utterly. Adorable. So were the little munchkin's first words - oh, poor, poor Hermione, suffering the woes of a daughter corrupted by one Snarky Bastard of a Potions Master. Mweheheh
2. Snape and Harry - I know how Molly Weasley feels. I think they're both precious. I also want to TWHAP! them upside the head at times. You have any idea how many mental cuss words I flung at them in both English AND my native language? Severus (punyetang lalaki ka and his damn Gryffindor-ish tendencies, Harry (pusang ama, iho mio, ANO BA?!!) and his own issues. I must note that Harry getting in trouble brings out Snape's inner Gryffindor while vice versa brings out Harry's inner Slytherin. Priceless, hmm?
And let's not forget Sirius (pusang ama ka rin! BWISEEEET!!!!), who now has a Mallet due to him from me, with his name on it for being at times, an insufferable bloody berk! (But seeing him fussing over his "godsons" is worth it...shh, don't tell him that)
3. The Showdown between Molly Weasley and Severus Snape. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
4. Chapter 28 - Faith - AAAAAAARRRRRGHFUCKINGHELL!!!!! Gave me a heart attack that did. Shite.
As it's not officially "up" yet, I will add the link later (that is, if Sushi doesn't mind). But for y'all reading this, run over to her journal NOW and hop to reading. SHOO!!!
Hugs and kisses to
wikdsushi for such a damn good story!

Date: 2003-09-25 02:25 pm (UTC)Very glad you liked it. =) (Been having minor panic attacks for hours - "Oh, god, what if everyone thinks it's a pretentious pile of crap?" Oh, no, no paranoia here.) Dare I ask what the swearing means? *grin* (It's Filipino, right? Behold, the power of Google.)
Linking is fine, BTW. I don't mind if it spreads. It's just not linked to the rest of the site yet.
*hugs and kisses back* Argh, must get to work! (According to Baby, this means slavering over a certain twelve-pound kitten.) Eee! So much to write, so little time!

Date: 2003-09-25 07:09 pm (UTC)Yep. Am Pinoy, living here in the Portal of the Twilight Zone that is the Philippines and damn proud of it.
Considering my country's latest news headlines, that only confirms that yes, I am, a certified loon.
Heh. The swearing? Not quite translatable but roughly means that they can be a pair of right bastards, insufferable prats and bloody berks at times. The literal meanings are just too hilarious for words.
I shall edit and add the link forthwith! :) *hugs
