Mom adores Harry Potter - specifically the movie Harry and Hermione. And I was greatly amused to see her raiding my library for my Potter books. I've always thought that Mom's rather a bit like Hermione herself and she preened when I told her so.

Hey, I LIKE Hermione. I'm a bit of a Hermione too... chip off the old block, that kind of thing.

OMG. My mother is Hermione. AIEEEEE! *falls over*

When told that the Ron/Hermione ship had finally sailed, Mom wailed: BUT I LIKE HARRY BETTER!

(Am halfway through HBP now and am thoroughly annoyed at Ginny and that's not because my ship is a slash-y one - XP)

(yes, air snail is excruciatingly slow here. wouldn't have known that the package was already at the post if you didn't give me the numbers so i could have it traced. *sigh* next time, i will trust the MAKATI post office - they at least informed me that a package Frances sent me last Christmas arrived!)

That amuses me greatly XDDD I actually told my mother about your fics and how much I love them, and we got into our own discussion of shipping... It was odd, but a lot of fun ^^
