My cat is jealous....

darth_stitchMy family is owned by a blind, ginger n' white, tubby and completely adorable kitty named Devone.
Originally, we had four cats, all named after superheroes, Batman and Darna (Filipino Wonder Woman) and their kids: Robin and our Devone. As he was blind, we meant to call him Daredevil but as Mom wouldn't have a pet with a "devil" in its name (weird superstition thing here), we ended up calling him Devone instead.
Alas and alack, Darna and Robin died while Batman, being the tomcat that he is, wandered off to parts unknown. Leaving Devone to claim us as his "humans."
Now his position is being ursurped.
It's all my grandfather's fault.
It's Mom's birthday, right? And Grandpa, being the sweet soul that he is, decided to bring over a cute widdle black n' white puppy as a present.
We named the puppy Stitch. He's currently sticking to our househelper like glue and generally goes around the house being cute, adorable and yipping at the cat.
Devone is so not amused. He doesn't like this noisy, yappy interloper stealing all his attention. He's supposed to be the only cute fuzzy thing around here!
*snicker* I'm threatening to switch their names to Snape n' Harry - it's just so funny...
