I'm enjoying this because this is the first time I've ever heard ANYONE on American Idol that makes me want to run out and buy their CD RIGHT NOW. So Bo Bice album, definitely up for my future shopping spree. :P
Before Clay Aiken fans kill me, uh, I came late to the Clay party and so started my AI-watching with Fantasia. Is that a good thing or a bad thing, I wonder? *chortles*
Not one of the female contestants on AI's current season really got my attention the way Fantasia did. Okay, Fantasia's voice doesn't make me want to run and buy her CDs but I enjoyed watching her perform and I knew she had THAT vibe going which pretty much told me, by the time they were picking out finalists, that she was going to stay a long time in the competition, if not win outright.
Among the ladies, I rather liked Carrie Underwood during her first audition, although I'm not getting all excited about her as she continues performing. Mikalah has got this personality that will make you love her or hate her and that Barbara Streisand/Bette Midler thing going so I figure she'll make it to the final 12, even if I'm not too hot about her voice. Nadia's another good bet and so is Vonzel but I don't know about the rest.
Well, Amanda Avila is pretty. :P
This year, I'm betting the next AI will be a guy - not necessarily Bo (though if he keeps it up, he'll probably go all the way to the final two or three). Hee. OF COURSE I'll be going nuts if Bo makes it all the way to the top. I dig that! The producers are picking up on the Bo vibe and are promoting him more and more. So definitely, I see Bo in the final 6 guys.
And he looked so cute in that hat tonight. *giggle* (Yes, this is a bad sign, I know. Stitch should try to cure herself but she's having far too much fun to care at this point.)
For the other candidates in the final 6 guys, I call Anwar, because he has this great likable vibe about him, not to mention that he's also good listening for my furry blue ears. Constantsuck (I mean, Constantine), will make it for the "rock star" thing and the versus Bo Bice gimmick and the fact that he gives off the Gerard Butler vibes in my head (looks good, does it matter that he can't really sing worth shit?). I've been waiting and waiting for Constantine to actually sing (I know, I know, silly me, right?) but as long as he's too interested in posing, acting like an asshat and looking pretty for the camera....eurgh.
As for the rest - Scott may look a bit creepy but he's also got a good voice, although it's not my groove. Anthony Fedorov has the whole blond Harry Potter shtick, he's a cute kid, also a very nice voice and if he's smart, he will leave the whole trach story and the whole Clay Aiken comparision.
And for the last guy in - it's a toss between Nikko and Mario Vasquez.
Hee. Now we'll see if my powers of Divination prove true over the next couple of weeks. *sighs and makes some more popcorn for her and Feanor to share*

As for the boys, Bo is definitely a front-runner. Although, how long it will last is anybody's guess. I wonder how well he will do when it comes to the 'theme' nights. Imagine him during 'salsa' night. Heh. Carmen Miranda fruit hat anyone?
My utmost favorite to win is Mario. He's got the goods and he looks like he's been doing it forever. And he looks like Fez from that That 70's Show! I think he's more 'sell-able' than Bo (unfortunately). And there's no way Scott will win. Beautiful voice but would you buy a record from that man?
Constantine has a double chin. And he's not even fat!
