I quail at the amount of work that you have piled up for the next few months. At last count, you have two concerts which need souvenir programs, a very long tribute book to that fashion designer celebrating his 50 years in the business and who is, in your own words, "persnickety as all hell" - not to mention the month-long theatrical festival that requires souvenir programs for thirty shows, a brochure and posters that all need proofreading and editing.
You also have press releases, radio advertisements and a calendar of events to edit and update.
This is why I DEMAND that you CEASE and DESIST this tendency of yours to "die" (also known as irresponsibly skipping off work), leaving us (namely ME!) to do your bloody work.
I have a husband to attend to, children to raise and yes, classes to teach, research to do and potions to brew. Contrary to popular belief, as much as I enjoy my scholarly pursuits, I do have a family that comes first now. Thanks to you... though I willfully refuse to try and understand WHY you decided to have me bear one of the children as, of all the absurdities, a pregnant male. Not to mention your appalling tendency to cast me in the female role whenever you are struck with your ridiculous plot ideas to borrow tales from classical or popular fiction.
In other words, wake up this instant, Darth Kathleen Grace Stitch!

Date: 2004-09-21 09:07 am (UTC)Mm. Frankly, that's enough to make me fall in love all over again.
Congratulations, love.

Pretty icons make me squeak, though!

I'd like my husband back for cuddling, thanks...if he stops being in a Royal Snit sometime soon.

Date: 2004-09-21 09:10 am (UTC)And have fun driving your Writer stark raving bonkers while you're at it.

Date: 2004-09-21 09:27 am (UTC)I have been driving her nuts. Giving her random plot bunnies. I think that’s what they’re called? I’m tired of her always writing me as a grief stricken old man. Why not something nice and happy for once?
Re: This is Remus
Date: 2004-09-21 09:31 am (UTC)I mean, honestly, Severus and I have to deal with angst and tragedy and all that shite in ten thousand other stories. Not that a well-written piece of drama isn't an enjoyable read, but we can all use a bit of fluffy stuff, eh?
Now if you'll excuse me, Severus isn't done with me yet... :P

Date: 2004-09-22 02:20 am (UTC)As for your speculation about Draco... who knows? There's definitely a little elf in every wizard.
Tui's little Nazgul-cub would be only too happy to join your Potter-Snape brood (although they might have to be prepared for the occasional Dire Adventure.)
Dang, I sent in chapter 14, and it hasn't show up yet. *Controls urge to really whine*.

Hah! You should know that there IS a long-running joke among Legolas fans about Jason Isaacs (Looshie Malfoy!) being a good pick to play Thranduil in The Hobbit movie. And I've already made several jokes about Legolas being the disowned, long-missing, oldest Malfoy son. :P *snorlfes*
YAY! for more kiddies! You realize that if Sulime hops on over, not to mention Tui's widdle Nazgul cub, Dire Adventure is definitely in the offering. Oh lord. Their parents are ALL going to get heart failure. :P
No chapter 14 yet?! WAIL!!!!!
