Finished the damn souvenir program at 10:00 pm. YES!YES!YES!

Thanks to els-chan, m99 and Ara for keeping me company. One souvenir prog thinggummy down. Two more to go. With deadlines two days apart. Sigh.

Hell, I've faced down His Squiggyness over at The Dungeons. I can do this. Yes I can.

Snarry stories over at The Site That Must Not Be Named suck. Better choices over at the latest Dusk-to-Dawn Fest. Remind to rec what I liked there. Too tired now to do anything else but surf aimlessly around.

His Squiggyness says he's going to demand a souvenir prog thinggummy and then smite you with it. I think he's way too gleeful about smiting today. This is what happens when he gets some.

Tell His Squiggyness that if he has the bad manners to demand a souvenir prog thingummy from me and THEN smite me with it, I'm going to dedicate yet another bad Muggle song to him. And add a "Last Song Syndrome" hex to it so the song will be playing in his head for 48 hours straight.

He says this is an acceptable comprimise. But only if he succeeds in his smiting.

He's hiding in his room, cringing and considering sending a basilisk back in time to eliminate the King. He's also listening to "Iron Man" on repeat and muttering something about Ozzy being the real King. I worry about him sometimes.

There is only ONE King and that, ladies, gents and Squiggyness, is Elvis Presley. No basilisk can keep the King down. Plus, the man happens to be Immortal. Sure, he's not into the swords n' headhunting the other Immortals are into, like Duncan and Connor. But he can take heads if he has to.

Well. At least it's Ozzy (Osbourne?) and not some godawful boy or girl band. I'd REALLY worry if I found out His Squiggyness was a closet Backstreet Boys and/or Spice Girls fan.

Sympathies on late nights and @#!@! projects. I'm still hanging fire on an award application for R&D100 magazine I'm doing for some scientists at our lab. Getting info out of these guys has been like pulling gryphon teeth. I'm still missing ONE vital piece of info and I need to send the darn thing off tomorrow. :-0

Good news is chapter 7 of Lions is now up on SQ. Yee-hah.
