I am tired.



I have just spent the last 48 hours editing/proofreading/updating a hideously looooong calendar of events (listing all the major shows/exhibits/whatnot) at this little theatrical institution I work for. Bad grammar, typos, the wrong program, and oh yes, my personal favorite: WHAT THE FUCK - YOU'RE PUTTING IN THIS NEW SHOW AT THE LAST FUCKING MINUTE?!!!! I GOT NO SPACE ANYMORE!!!!

I have told my Boss, Captain Angmar himself, that I detest and loathe the Calendar with every fiber of my being. That it is my punishment for the indiscretions I committed in a past life when I must've been a monk in one of those contemplative orders. Yeah. That's it.

Angmar was vastly amused.

When I'm THIS tired, my mood swings like I'm drunk. Really drunk. So I can be happyhappy Stitch on crack. Or I can be sluggy morose Stitch who wants to curl up and sleep. All the damn day.

*sigh* I think I shall occupy my time planning out the rest of the As You Wish chapters....

*hugs* Poor Stitch. Mood swinging is no fun. It's exhausting. Could you print out a copy of the Calendar and set fire to it? I guarantee that it'd make you feel better.

Not possible. Am editing this thing on a gorgeous brand-spanking new Apple Mac. But the only Apple printer in this office of ours is obsolete and does not like said brand-spanking new Apple Mac. Hence, we must use the OLD, dying Apple Mac to print.

And if we print all 52 pages of this stupid thing, my grandkids will probably have grandkids of their own before it's through.

Which means, I have spent the last 48 hours staring at a computer monitor. So much for my eyes.

Gah.

Never mind. I am still in the office finishing up this stupid thing. My artist needs only fix four pages - I am waiting for her to finish another urgent project first. She's pregnant and also stressed out so I am being careful not to tick her off.

Four pages and I can go home and watch Matrix Revolutions and get set to writing the sixth blessed chapter of AYW. *grins* I love Ronigo.....

*Said in a soothing voice* Relaax, have a nice cuppa tea and a biscuit or two. Read my "Lions on a Banner" snippet just posted to my LJ - my own nuzgul bit me hard this evening, but it was for a scene chapters away! Oh well, this sort of thing gives me incentive to keep going and tie it all together.

Hope you can destress and get some rest soon.
