My name is Stitch.
I am an [livejournal.com profile] hp_dungeons addict.

Er. Did I do that right? *scratches head* That IS how you do these things, isn't it?

*chortle*

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I'm just going to switch gears for a bit. The Slytherins are still at war, we of the Big Sisters Anonymous are currently worrying about Harry, Ron and Draco...nothing new to report, unless something comes up in the next couple of hours.

Just finished reading The Medean Curse by Lydia Lovestruck. Know it's one of the popular Snarry recs out there but the beginning rather put me off. Now I'm glad I finally went through with it.

My only peeve is "Severus with SHORT hair?!" I know, I know - long hair and potions don't mix....but I LIKE seeing the git with his usual 'do. I've seen fan artists have a lot of fun with that chin-length 'do in a lot of anime and manga-inspired fan art of Severus Snape. Yummy.

Anyways, Harry giving Severus Snape the make-over was charmingly done. The tuxedo and parlor episodes were comic gems. And of course, the way the two idiots eventually realized that they were in "luuuurve" was just plain adorable.

[livejournal.com profile] vain_chan complained of an ff.net fic that made Severus Snape unrecognizably and fluffily OOC. I said that there was a way to "soften" his personality without compromising the character and it's been done in well-written fics. The Medean Curse is one of those really good fluffy Snape fics. He's not Evil! or Bastard!Snape but still pretty much the snarky, grouchy guy we know, except that this one's got a vulnerability to him that's very sweet and makes him a nice complement for Harry.

LOL moment: the Alan Rickman in-joke. I had to laugh at the image of Sirius (written before OotP, this definitely makes the fic AU) and Harry watching Die Hard together and doing their Bruce Willis' impressions. Priceless.

Siiiiigh. There are days when it's fun to be a Snarry fan. This is one of them.

Hello, my name is Ygrane, and I'm an [community profile] hp_dungeons addict, and I randomly adopt younger siblings.

I've cursed Mikhail where the sun don't shine, and I want to drop things on S. and L. for ignoring our boy. I think that's all. That I can remember.

Oh, well. Maybe Draco will find a nice Spanish boy.

Hello, ygrane. I also randomly adopt younger sibs (see my bio) and want to TWHAP a certain Snarky Bastard and another Luscious Bastard for being the bastards that they are to a certain Snooty Ferret, who I now consider yet another younger sibling.

I've sliced and diced Mikhail ten ways till Sunday with a double-bladed lightsaber and TWHAPPED him quite nicely with my hardcover edition of OotP. *cough*

Had to edit this: thought Draco was applying at the Quibbler. *facepalms* It was the Dementor! Only Luna could get a Dementor for an assistant. *chortle*

*points at new icon* See? Now I'm using our shiny new icon. *giggle*

Aren't they lovely?

I love that the Dementor applied at the Quibbler!

*Runs off to check the Dungeons site again*

Yup, yup. I felt all light and happy too after reading The Medean Curse. It's actually on my favorites list, lovingly reread after or in between angsty Snarrys and Clexes.

Anyway, REC TIIIME! I read from somewhere that the image of preggy!Harry got ingrained in your head, sooo read this (http://www.riddikulus.org/authors/natt/GC.html), if you haven't already. :)
