There is a really, really cute Steve/Danny chibi fan art that I really, REALLY, REALLY want to turn into a cross-stitch pattern and cross-stitch myself.

Yes.  I cross stitch.

Yeah.  I really wanna do it.  Now I need to find a program that can help me reduce the thing into tiny colorful boxes that will have a code corresponding to a specific thread color.

There's nothing wrong with cross stitch! I love crafty stuff, too!

And I wonder if those craft/cross-stitch stores can scan and code the pictures for you?

Sorry if his is late, but I'm listing all my favorites fanfics (your on the list... miss Uncle Morrie) and saw this and now I may have a solution. The V & A museum has a "program"/"software" for quilters to pixelate photos to turn into a quilt and it may work for you as well.
