What is it with me and the boys in black? Hmm?
I have to ruefully admit that I want to shoot myself each and every time I see the cornball dialogue of Anakin and Amidala courting in Attack of the Clones. Believe me, when a fandom has fan fiction that seems, at times, to be better than established canon - I know we're in trouble.
If there's any Star Wars fan fiction characterization of Anakin Skywalker that I love - I have to say it's the one done by the most excellent FernWithy. Check out her HOMEPAGE HERE for some most excellent Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker fics. I am very proud to have been part of one of her major round robins "The Penitent" once upon a time. It's there on the site and I was writing under the name Jedi Skysong. *grins* People who know me well will definitely recognize my contribution to that round robin.
Anyway, Star Wars Episode III is still a long ways off...however, I let out a LOUD WAR WHOOP when I saw THIS PIC over at Moons of Iego. Like it says there, OH HELL YEAH!!!! That's my favorite young Dark Lord standing there and I hope like blazes that SW Ep III does a better job as a movie than its predecessors did.
Harry Muse: What is it with you and men in black?
Stitch: *raises a brow* I ought to ask YOU that same question, considering your husband's favorite wardrobe color....
Harry Muse: *blushes* Well, he does look sexy in black...
Padme Muse: Amen to that. *smirks*
Harry Muse: Your bloke doesn't look too bad either.
Padme Muse: Don't let your husband hear you say that.
Harry Muse: *grins* Nothing wrong with appreciating from afar. Very much afar, of course, my lady.
Padme Muse: *giggles* Just as long as we're clear on that, wizard boy.
