Why all the animosity against Won Won/Lav Lav? I thought it was kinda cute (if obviously doomed not to last), Ron was so obviously in it for the sex snogging and really what even remotely straight boy would turn down a pretty (and willing) girl like Lavender?
Now the Harry/Ginny on the other hand... grrrr. *stick fingers in ears and chants; Harry is gay gay gay gay gay dammit!* Luckily we can still reason our way out of it. ;)

*grin* I'm actually 50/50 on Snape's survival (there's just the barest chance that the Heroic And Suicidal Sacrifice that I'm predicting he'll attempt won't work. Otherwise he's gonna die. ) But the last option was too perfect to pass up.

Odd-ball pairings definitely goes to Kreacher/Dobby. I had this squicky compulsion to go try to find ficcies with this pairing as I was reading the book. Kreacher/Dobby=my new OTP. ^_^

For subtext there was so much Snape/Harry, Snape/Draco, and Draco/Harry that the little slash-aholic in me was having a field day. Even though I still like PoA best, HBP takes a very close second.

I saw the Harry/Ginny coming for quite a while, but I still think Jo could have built it up better like she did to Ron/Hermione (because anyone who missed that ages ago is in serious denial). I wish Jo would leave the pairings less set in stone. These kids are going to be what 17/18 by the end-they're all kind of young to be settling down in a forever kind of way and popping out brats in my opinion. I noticed on ships you didn't include the worse of them Remus/Tonks (in the spork question)-worse character assassination ever in Tonks case.
