Spent the weekend happily watching the documentaries n' other neat stuff on the two LOTR Extended Editions.
Yes, I am a film geek. And hey, I took film courses in college. While I can't handle a camera to save my life, I did spent many happy months watching some of the best damn films ever made.
Of which "Sunset Boulevard" remains one of my utter faves.
Anyway. Watched ROTK (again?!) and realized something.
Remember that scene where Faramir and his men are going down the streets of Gondor and the women and children are bidding the soldiers farewell, some of them even strewing flowers on the path?
There's a shot there of an old woman who I am prepared to swear I saw in Rohan during the Helm's Deep battle scene.
There's also a shot of this cute widdle girl with really big brown eyes who I am also prepared to swear was one of the children in the storytelling session Bilbo had during his birthday party.
I told this to my boss the Witch King of Angmar and he just about died laughing.
*facepalms* Yes, I have seen the LOTR films waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much now...
